In the Workshop

There are many new prepared food items on the site. Henri has been busy creating items for museums all over the United States.

This fall he was busy making boiled shrimp for the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens in Houston, Texas, a roasted boar's head for the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch, Iowa and a gallantine for the Villa Louis Historic Site in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Another order this fall was a Twelfth Night Cake for Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Where does one get a boar's head to cast? Well fortunately, the butcher shop in Ingram, Texas had one they were about to throw out, so a cast was made from the real thing.

Some other new items are: bacon, fried chicken, mustard greens with salt pork, pork roast, a fricassee surface, a hominey surface and sliced tomatoes. Click here to visit the Prepared Foods page for more information.

Any item of special interest can be created for you. Please call 713-528-4577 for information and pricing.
